Quantity Surveyor

Strathclyde Business Park, Bellshill (with travel across Scotland)
From £37,000 DOE + Company Car/Car Allowance + Bonus
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 37.5 Hours

Measure. Manage. Deliver Commercial Success.

Saltire Facilities Management is looking for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. This role will see you supporting the successful delivery of projects by managing costs, valuations, contracts, and financial reporting across a range of maintenance and facilities management contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, valuations, and forecasts.
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and profitability.
  • Manage subcontractor accounts and final accounts.
  • Prepare and submit payment applications and supporting documentation.
  • Administer contracts and ensure compliance.
  • Produce weekly and monthly commercial reports.
  • Support budgeting, financial planning, and cost control initiatives.
  • Liaise with clients, operational teams, and subcontractors on commercial matters.

About You

  • A bachelor’s in quantity surveying or previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
  • Strong understanding of cost control, valuations, and contract administration.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial management systems.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Experience within facilities management, construction, social housing, or property maintenance is advantageous but not essential.
