Full job description

Overview
As a marshal working for KHL at PF International Kart Circuit, you will be part of a team that ensures safe, competitive and enjoyable racing for our customers. Your role will include overseeing the track during open testing and any corporate sessions at the circuit.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and closing down the track before and after every event
  • Ensuring the circuit is safe to use
  • Setting up and taking out rental karts safely
  • Putting away and storing rental karts safely
  • Monitoring the circuit for hazards and incidents at all times when on track
  • Ensuring the safety of customers at all times while on track - this includes ensuring that all safety equipment is worn correctly by customers during corporate sessions
  • Providing timely and correct warning flags and lights during sessions
  • Dealing with any on-track incidents, such as assisting in the recovery of broken-down karts and moving barriers back to their original places
  • Timely, efficient and clear radio communication with co-workers during a session
  • Accurate and timely reporting of incidents and breakages with co-workers and management
  • Cleaning and refuelling karts in a safe manner
  • General kart maintenance, such as changing tyres

Essential Qualities

  • A friendly and enthusiastic demeanour when communicating with customers
  • Alterness and awareness while working
  • Excellent and safe standard of driving when operating a kart

Desirable Qualities

  • Previous marshal training
  • First-aid training
