Recovery Driver (Class 1 or 2) – Vehicle Breakdown & Recovery

Location: Reading, Berkshire & surrounding areas

Raf’s Breakdown Recovery is a professional and expanding vehicle recovery company operating across Reading, Berkshire and surrounding motorway networks. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Recovery Driver capable of driving 18-tonne vehicles to join our team.

Key Responsibilities Attending roadside breakdowns, accidents and recovery jobs Recovering cars, vans and commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tonne, Safely operating an 18-tonne recovery truck Loading, securing, transporting and unloading vehicles correctly Delivering a professional, calm and reassuring service to customers Completing basic paperwork and maintaining communication with control

Essential Requirements Clean UK driving licence Entitlement to drive Class 1 or 2 vehicles Willingness to work overtime, evenings and weekends when required Basic vehicle/mechanical knowledge Strong reliability, professionalism and attention to safety Ability to work independently and under pressure

Previous experience in vehicle recovery or roadside assistance Experience operating recovery equipment. Customer-facing or driving-based work background.
