Full job description

Knovia is a growing group of education and training providers, committed to delivering impact, growth, and meaningful change through high-quality learning and apprenticeship programmes.

As we continue to scale, we are investing in the operational capabilities that underpin marketing performance across the group. With this in mind we're looking for a commercially focused Head of Marketing Operations to build, optimise and scale the engine behind our marketing performance.

This is a unique opportunity to shape how marketing delivers measurable commercial outcomes at scale.

Full time (36.5 hours a week) - Permanent - Remote

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 plus quarterly incentive bonus

This is a high-impact leadership role focused on systems, data, processes, and performance enablement-not brand or campaign ownership. You will work across multiple business units to ensure marketing is aligned to revenue, insight-led, and supported by best-in-class tools and frameworks.

If you're passionate about marketing technology, operational excellence, and driving revenue through data, this role offers the chance to make a significant organisational impact.

Key Responsibilities:

You will lead and optimise the organisation's marketing operations by owning and enhancing the full marketing technology stack, ensuring seamless integration with sales systems and building scalable frameworks for campaign execution, lead management and conversion tracking. You will define and embed clear KPIs and reporting standards across the group, delivering actionable insight that improves lead quality, conversion rates and overall return on investment while ensuring performance is consistently measured and understood.

Alongside this, you will establish best-practice processes, governance and operating rhythms, ensuring compliance and driving adoption of tools and standardised ways of working across decentralised teams. A key focus of the role is leveraging technology and AI to increase efficiency-leading the implementation of new tools, driving automation and embedding these into day-to-day workflows to maximise productivity.

You will also play a critical role in enabling marketing capability, equipping teams with the frameworks, tools and training needed to improve output, quality and commercial impact, while fostering a more data-driven culture. Finally, you will support the organisation's growth by leading marketing operations integration for acquisitions, developing scalable onboarding models and ensuring the marketing function can adapt and scale effectively as the group continues to expand.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Improved lead quality, conversion rates and marketing ROI
  • Increased adoption of tools, automation and best practices
  • Consistent, reliable performance reporting across the group
  • Faster integration of newly acquired businesses
  • Clear alignment between marketing activity and revenue outcomes

About You:

You are a highly analytical, commercially minded marketing operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

You'll bring:

  • Significant experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, or commercial enablement
  • Strong knowledge of B2B lead generation, funnel management, and conversion analytics
  • Experience implementing and optimising marketing technology platforms (e.g. Salesforce, DotDigital)
  • A track record of designing scalable processes across multiple teams or business units
  • Strong data literacy with the ability to turn insight into action
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without authority
  • Experience in education, training, or regulated B2B environments (desirable)
  • Exposure to AI-driven marketing tools and automation (desirable)
  • Experience supporting acquisitions or rapid organisational growth (desirable)
