Full job description

Zen Educate is seeking a dedicated and experienced English Language Teacher to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis.

This role is ideal for a resilient, reflective practitioner who is passionate about supporting learners with challenging behaviour and creating a calm, structured, and engaging learning environment.

The Role

- Deliver high-quality English language teaching tailored to learners’ individual needs - Plan and adapt lessons to support engagement, progress, and positive outcomes - Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies - Work collaboratively with support staff, leadership, and external professionals - Build strong, respectful relationships with learners to promote confidence and achievement

The Ideal Candidate Will Have: - Significant experience teaching English (ESOL / English Language / English) - Proven experience supporting learners with challenging behaviour - Strong classroom management skills and a calm, consistent approach - Team Teach training (highly desirable) or a willingness to undertake training - Commitment to inclusive education and long-term student development We Offer: - A stable, full-time, long-term position - Supportive leadership and collaborative working environment - Opportunities for professional development and training - The chance to make a meaningful difference in learners’ lives

Requirements:Essential:

  • PGCE
  • Experience teaching English
