We work with leading garden building suppliers and commercial clients across Essex, London, and the surrounding areas. Our standards are high because our customers expect the best, and we consistently deliver it.

If you take shortcuts, turn up late, or think "that'll do" is good enough, this role is not for you.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Concrete Base Installer and Hard Landscaper who takes genuine pride in their work. This is not a filler role. You will run jobs, lead operatives on site, and be trusted to represent the company directly with clients.

The work is consistent, the team is professional, and the expectations are clear.

These are non-negotiable:

  • High standards from start to finish, not just when someone is watching
  • Sites left clean, tidy, and presented professionally
  • Clear, respectful communication with clients and colleagues
  • Ownership mentality, you treat every job as if your name is on it
  • Ability to lead a small team and keep things moving

Key Responsibilities

  • Install accurate, square, and level concrete bases to a consistently high standard
  • Set out works correctly with precise measurements and proper preparation
  • Run jobs independently and direct team members where required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised site at all times
  • Represent the company professionally in front of clients
  • Take care of company tools, equipment, and vehicles

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in groundwork, concrete bases, or hard landscaping
  • Strong understanding of levels, measurements, and site setup
  • Ability to run jobs and manage a small team
  • Full UK driving licence (clean preferred)
  • UTR number
  • Physically fit and ready for hands-on work
  • Willing to travel when required

What You Get

  • Consistent, well-organised workload with a growing company
  • Competitive pay for the right person
  • Bonuses and incentives based on performance and reliability
  • Real opportunity to grow into a senior or lead role and more
  • A professional team that takes pride in the work and how they show up
