Class 2 Driver – Concrete Mixer Driver
Hourly Pay: £ 15-16 per hour

Flowmix specialise in the production and distribution of ready mixed concrete and liquid screed.

Job description

We are looking for a full-time, Class 2 Driver to drive and operate one of our HGV concrete mixers from our plant in Aldridge, Walsall .

A great opportunity to join our friendly, hardworking team.

The successful candidate will be expected to work Monday to Friday, with the possibility of Saturday work (as overtime). Hours vary on a day to day basis, but it will be a minimum of 45hr week.

Essential qualifications:

- Full UK Driving Licence

- Class 2 Licences (CPC and tacho)

- Experience working within the construction sector

Experience in ready mix concrete desirable, however not essential as full training will be provided.

Tasks and duties will include:

- carrying out routine vehicle checks

- making sure that the load is correctly placed

- driving and operating one of our concrete mixers

- maintaining a logbook with details of trips, including rest breaks
