Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Letting / Tenant Referencing Expert to join our property lettings team. This role involves assessing prospective tenants, managing referencing procedures, and ensuring a smooth and efficient tenant onboarding process. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and possess a very high standard with administrative tasks. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment where attention to detail and customer service are paramount.

Duties

Carry out property inspections, arranging quotes and works with maintenance contractors.

Diary managment.

  • Conduct thorough tenant referencing checks, including credit, employment, and previous landlord verifications
  • Liaise with prospective tenants to gather necessary documentation and information
  • Manage the application process from initial enquiry through to approval or rejection
  • Maintain accurate records of all referencing activities and applicant details
  • Communicate effectively with tenants, landlords, and external agencies to facilitate smooth operations
  • Provide guidance on referencing requirements and assist applicants throughout the process
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations during all procedures
  • Assist in administrative tasks related to letting processes as required

Skills

  • Proven administrative experience with strong organisational capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; multilingual abilities are advantageous
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple applications efficiently
