Restaurant Reception and Event Manager - Bocconcino Mayfair Restaurant

Contract: Full time (48hrs per week)

Salary: £2700 Net monthly (after tax) + Event booking bonus + TIPS

Summary

We are seeking a Reception and Events Manager to lead our Restaurant reception team at our iconic Mayfair location.

This role involves managing guest interactions and ensuring seamless service, reflecting our commitment to hospitality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities

  • Be in charge of the event management from start to end
  • Manage and train the reception team
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain a welcoming environment that aligns with our brand standards.
  • Train and support front-of-house staff to deliver excellent service.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Greet and welcome guests with professionalism and warmth.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in guest services or event management (premium and luxury restaurants)
  • Previous experience as Head Receptionist/Reception Manager is required
  • At least 2 years experience in managing Open Table reservations system
  • Flexibility to work any day of the week (total 5 days per week)
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities.
  • Multilingual abilities are advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
