Are you an experienced legal administrator looking for a role that offers far more variety than a traditional reception or legal support position?

This is a genuinely varied role where no two days are likely to be the same. You will work closely with the Operations Manager, supporting the smooth running of the firm while also taking ownership of the front-of-house experience and providing administrative support across the legal teams when required.

  • Work closely with the Operations Manager and gain exposure to the wider business operations of a successful law firm.
  • Involvement in onboarding, training, HR administration and internal processes.
  • Opportunity to work across different practice areas and support legal teams when needed.
  • Join a friendly, forward-thinking and award-winning regional firm where your contribution will genuinely be noticed.

The Role

  • Managing reception and providing a warm, professional welcome to clients and visitors.
  • Answering and directing telephone calls and handling general enquiries.
  • Managing meeting rooms, appointments and diaries.
  • Supporting the Operations Manager with the day-to-day running of the firm.
  • Assisting with new starter onboarding and induction processes.
  • Supporting HR administration, employee records and internal processes.
  • Coordinating and assisting with staff training and development activities.
  • Providing administrative and operational support to different legal teams when required.
  • Helping ensure the office operates efficiently, professionally and to a consistently high standard.

About You

  • At least 2 years' experience working within a law firm.
  • Previous experience in a legal reception, legal administration, office management or HR administration environment.
