Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and friendly Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and addressing guest inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. Fluency in multiple languages and prior experience in hospitality are highly desirable to enhance guest satisfaction.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
  • Manage reservations accurately using the hotel management system
  • Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with excellent phone etiquette
  • Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive experience
  • Process payments securely and maintain accurate financial records
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared
  • Maintain a tidy and organised reception area at all times
  • Uphold high standards of guest services and hospitality throughout all interactions

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a hotel reception or customer service role is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous
