Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and personable Beauty Therapist/Receptionist to join our esteemed salon team. This role combines delivering exceptional beauty treatments with providing outstanding customer service at the reception desk. The ideal candidate will be passionate about beauty and skincare, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to creating a welcoming environment for clients. This is a paid position suitable for individuals eager to develop their skills within a dynamic and friendly setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of beauty treatments, including makeup application, skincare, massage, pedicure, manicures, gels, ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene.
  • Greet clients warmly upon arrival, assisting with appointment scheduling and enquiries to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organised treatment area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Provide personalised consultations to clients regarding beauty treatments and products.
  • Manage the reception area efficiently, handling phone calls, booking appointments, and processing payments accurately.
  • Promote salon services and products to maximise client satisfaction and sales opportunities.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest beauty trends, techniques, and product knowledge to offer expert advice.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in makeup application and beauty therapy is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Organised with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
  • A genuine passion for beauty and skincare with a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
  • Previous experience working in a reception or administrative at least 2 years experience.
