Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused MOT receptionist and parts coordinator to join our team. This dual-role position will be the first point of contact for customers booking MOTs and will also coordinate parts ordering for the workshop. Will need to be experienced working in the motortrade and have a good understanding of parts.

Duties

Greeting customers and bookings MOTs services, and repairs

Answering the phone and responding to enquiries

Managing the booking system and workshop diary

Checking vehicles in and out (job cards, keys, mileage, etc.)

Explaining MOT results and basic repair needs (in a clear , non -technical way)

Keeping customers updated on progress, delays, or additional work

Handling payments, invoices and receipts

Liaising between technicians and customers

Maintaining accurate records and paperwork (Digital and manual)

Keeping the reception area organised and professional

Ordering vehicle parts from suppliers (Trade accounts, motor factors, dealers)

Sourcing the best price and availability for parts

Returning incorrect or faulty parts\ keeping records of parts and invoices correctly

Experience

Strong customer service and communication

Organisation and time management

Confidence using a booking system and use of microsoft ,etc

Ability to multitask under pressure

Must be highly reliable with excellent time keeping

Strong team member, smart and organised

Must have experience of working within the motortrade

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £450.00-£520.00 per week
