Job Title: Office Administrator / Office StaffJob Summary

We are looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Office Administrator to join our busy roofing company. This is a key role within the business, acting as the first point of contact for customers while providing administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office. The successful candidate will be confident communicating with customers, suppliers and colleagues, able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and direct enquiries appropriately.
  • Book appointments for roofing surveys, quotations and work schedules.
  • Liaise with customers to arrange appointments, provide updates and answer general enquiries.
  • Communicate with suppliers to order materials, check availability and coordinate deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update company systems.
  • Process emails and respond to customer enquiries promptly.
  • Coordinate diaries for surveyors and roofing teams.
  • Prepare and organise paperwork, quotations and other office documents.
  • Monitor and manage office supplies.
  • Support the management team with general administrative duties.
  • Ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times.

Skills and ExperienceEssential

  • Previous experience in an office administration or customer service role.
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Good IT skills.
