Dental Receptionist (Private Practice) Rural Oxfordshire | Part-Time (Mon, Tues, Weds & Fri)

We are seeking an experienced and personable Dental Receptionist to join our well-established, busy 5-surgery private dental practice in rural Oxfordshire.

At The Old Stables Dental Practice, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care within a warm, professional and beautifully maintained environment. Our close-knit team combines clinical excellence with a genuinely friendly ethos.

We are NOT looking to employ a dentist or a hygienist for this role.

About the Practice

  • Long-established, highly regarded private practice
  • Fully digital workflow and computerised systems
  • Services include general dentistry, orthodontics, hygiene therapy, specialist endodontics and implants
  • Purpose-built facilities including central sterilisation suite, staff room and ample free parking

The RoleYou will be the welcoming face of the practice, responsible for:

  • Greeting and supporting patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Managing appointments (booking, rescheduling, recalls and incomplete treatments)
  • Handling phone calls and email enquiries efficiently
  • Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties
  • Occasional assistance with central sterilisation or clinical support during staff shortages

The Ideal Candidate

  • Some previous dental experience is essential. I am NOT looking to hire a dentist or a hygienist for this role.
  • GDC registration preferred (but not essential)
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills
  • Calm, efficient and patient-focused
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Receptionist experience essential
