Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Duty Officer/Receptionist to be responsible for delivering a person-centred, supportive service that will engage and empower our residents to develop domestic, social and life skills that will prepare and enable them to live independently. This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours/week between 8:30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.


Key Requirements

  • Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care.
  • Experience working within mental health services.
  • Experience working within a supportive mental health service.
  • Good knowledge of mental health diagnoses and dual diagnosis.
  • Strong computer skills and digital dexterity.
  • Excellent telephone manner and grasp of the English language.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to communicate appropriately with people at all levels and capacities.
  • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative to find solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritise a varied workload.
  • Warm and friendly demeanour with a positive and open-minded attitude.
  • Thirst for knowledge, strive for excellence, and a humble posture of learning.
  • A genuine desire to want to make a difference and help disadvantaged individuals to have meaningful and purposeful lives.
