Receptionist jobs in Surrey

We are looking for an experienced, confident and reliable Spa Therapist / Receptionist to join our friendly team within a luxury hotel spa in Mayfair, London.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining professional spa treatments with spa reception and day-to-day operational duties. We are looking for someone who enjoys delivering exceptional treatments but is equally comfortable welcoming guests, managing bookings and helping the spa run smoothly.

Essential Qualifications

Applicants must hold:

- Level 3 qualification in Massage

- Level 2 qualification in Facial Treatments

- Recognised UK qualifications or equivalent

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering high-quality massage, facial and body treatments

- Welcoming hotel guests, members and external clients

- Managing treatment bookings and responding to guest enquiries

- Taking payments and processing transactions

- Answering telephone and email enquiries

- Checking guests in and out of the spa

- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining excellent presentation standards

- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the spa

- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and guest care

- Assisting with opening and closing procedures

- Supporting colleagues with reasonable shift and sickness cover where possibleWhat We're Looking For

- Previous spa, hotel or luxury hospitality experience preferred

- Confident and experienced in massage and facial treatments

- Comfortable working on reception as well as performing treatments

- Excellent communication and customer

-service skills

- Professional, warm and confident with guests

- Reliable and able to work independently when required

- Good organisational and administrative skills

- Comfortable working in a busy luxury environment

- A flexible approach to shifts, including weekends

About You

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety and wants to be an important part of a small spa team rather than working solely as a treatment therapist.

You will need to be proactive, dependable and happy to take responsibility for the guest journey from initial enquiry and booking through to treatment and departure.
