Do you thrive in a busy, people-focused environment where every day brings something new? If that sounds like you, you could be our next Bookings & Relationships Executive at Ocean Healthcare.

Why join us

We’re a friendly, passionate team who take pride in delivering excellent care - and it all starts with our people. As part of our Agency Division, you’ll play a key role in connecting our amazing care professionals (Members) with the customers who need them, helping both sides feel supported, valued and confident.

You’ll enjoy:

  • A competitive salary of £30,000 per annum + £4,200 OTE
  • 21 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
  • Company pension scheme
  • Regular treats and team events - we like to celebrate success!
  • Monday - Friday: 08:30 - 17:00
  • Participation in our on-call rota (one weekday per week and one weekend in four)
  • Based primarily from our Paignton office, with travel to our North Devon office in Barnstaple once every other week and as required for meetings and collaboration

What you’ll do

As a Bookings & Relationships Executive, you’ll take ownership of a defined regional portfolio - building trusted partnerships with both customers and our agency members.

You’ll be the calm centre of a fast-moving environment, ensuring every shift runs smoothly, relationships grow stronger and our service continues to excel.

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Proactively manage and grow relationships with customers and members in your region
  • Match the right people to the right shifts using our scheduling and CRM systems
  • Monitor attendance, reliability and welfare - supporting our members to deliver excellent care
  • Coordinate compliance and training, keeping everyone up to date and ready to work
  • Collaborate with Recruitment and Customer Care teams to deliver exceptional service
  • Track performance data to spot trends, opportunities and ways to improve
  • Travel to our North Devon office in Barnstaple once every other week and as needed for meetings, training and team collaboration
  • Take part in our on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support when needed

Who we’re looking for

You’re curious, proactive and love connecting with people. You take ownership, stay organised and have a knack for turning challenges into wins. You enjoy seeing the results of your hard work - happy customers, busy members and a thriving region.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in account management, coordination or customer-facing roles
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Strong IT confidence (CRM, scheduling or similar systems)
  • The ability to stay cool under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • The ability to travel regularly between our Paignton and Barnstaple offices
  • Experience in healthcare staffing or knowledge of the care sector is a plus - but your attitude, energy and professionalism are what matter most

Who this role is perfect for

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a lively, people-focused environment and takes real pride in making things happen. You’re naturally self-driven, love achieving goals and find purpose in going the extra mile for both customers and members. You’ll be target driven with a focus on growing your regional hours.

You enjoy building genuine relationships and spotting opportunities to make things even better - whether that’s improving response times, enhancing communication or adding thoughtful touches that make people feel valued.

You’re organised, adaptable and stay positive and professional no matter how busy the day gets. If you enjoy being part of a supportive team that celebrates success and values care, honesty and excellence - you’ll feel right at home here.

What makes Ocean different

At Ocean Healthcare, we’re more than a staffing agency - we’re a team that genuinely cares. We live our CARE values every day and encourage others to demonstrate care, teamwork, authenticity and excellence in their work.

If you’re looking for a role that combines purpose, pace and people - and a place where your work truly matters, we’d love to meet you!
