About us
We are the future of heart failure remote patient monitoring, having created an automatic, AI-supported, non-contact telemonitoring solution to help heart failure patients stay out of hospital by detecting worsening of their symptoms an average of 13 days ahead of a heart event.
Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and technically savvy Medical Device Installer to handle the installation and setup of our medical devices across London for our latest UK clinical trial. The position will include installing our medical device in a patient’s home; establishing connections to WIFI networks and performing functionality testing to ensure devices are working optimally. The role requires travel across London, so you will need to live within a commutable distance of this location and have a clean full driving licence. All necessary training will be provided.
This is a task based role and the volume of work can fluctuate week to week, with some weeks having a number of tasks and others none, depending on patient recruitment by our recruitment sites. As such this is a perfect role for someone looking for a little extra income.
Responsibilities
- Install medical devices in patients’ homes
- Connect devices to existing WIFI networks and perform initial setup procedures
- Test and troubleshoot devices to ensure they are fully operational.
- Provide basic training and instructions to users
- Maintain accurate installation records and report any issues to the tech team
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations during installation and setup
About you
- You are patient, a great communicator and flexible
- Ability to travel as needed and work flexible hours to suit patients’ needs
- Be able to work independently
- Good time management skills
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Must have a valid drivers licence and your own car with full insurance
- Technically savvy and comfortable working with electronic devices and WIFI setup
- A good understanding of data protection and patient confidentiality
- Be adaptable and work well under pressure
- You will be happy to have a DBS check
- No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.
What we offer
- Pay will be on a per task basis to cover travel/mileage and installations
- Flexible working hours
- Full training and support in cutting edge technology.
