Who we are

Momentum Services Ltd is a company where our people are the wealth of our company.

Hospitality is a universal language: it’s about warmth, care, and a personalised approach. It builds bridges, sparks connection, and creates lasting relationships.
For more than 25 years we’ve been providing a warm, welcoming experience to Eurostar travellers in stations, lounges and on board. Our hospitality knows no borders: currently spanning four countries, our teams make customers from all walks of life feel right at home, adding thoughtful touches that make it a journey to remember.
Our secret ingredient? A human-focused approach that puts people first.
Small but perfectly formed, we’re here to fuel our team’s passion for hospitality, bringing a local feel to an international industry.

The role

Join our Logistics team and play a key role in managing the last-mile logistics behind Eurostar’s onboard catering service, helping ensure everything is in the right place at the right time for our trains and customers.

You’ll be working at the heart of a fast-paced, high-intensity operational environment where no two days are the same. As a Logistics Specialist, you’ll help keep the operation running smoothly by following established procedures while remaining agile and solutions-focused when unforeseen disruptions arise.

You’ll need to be comfortable multitasking, prioritising competing demands and making sound decisions under pressure, while maintaining accuracy and a strong focus on service.

Every day brings new challenges, changing operational priorities and opportunities to make a real difference. Most importantly, you’ll work alongside a fantastic team of people who support one another, solve problems together and are ready to succeed as one team.

Key responsibilities

  • Communicate with logistics centres - defectives fridges, top off, transfers, bar uplift, last minute increases
  • Perform pre-departure queries from onboard crews
  • Perform pre-departure loading checks on platforms in St. Pancras
  • Data input - crew reports, product shortages, recycling, wastage
  • Place daily orders - bar fresh
  • Validate automated daily orders
  • Communicate with Logistics Manager & Leads and the wider MSL teams on all information that impacts service in a timely manner
  • Monitor the key data provided from Logistics partners such as wastage, recycling, top off and take relevant action to maintain stock availability in line with the KPIs.
  • Work alongside the Logistics Leads to continuously improve operational services for MSL, CAVs and EIL
  • Proactively monitor EIL disruptions and external events that could potentially result in an operational disruption and take action to mitigate risk of impact using the contingency tools available
  • Assist Logistics Manager and Leads with special events and charter trains
  • *This is not an exhaustive list

About you

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a busy operational environment and enjoys solving the challenges each day brings. You’ll bring:

  • Fluency in both French and English – essential for the role.
  • Strong computer literacy and confidence working across different systems and digital tools.
  • Confidence working with numbers and operational data, with good attention to detail.
  • A natural problem-solving mentality – able to assess a situation, find practical solutions and keep things moving.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively, particularly when several operational issues arise at the same time.
  • A here-and-now operational mindset – able to focus on today’s priorities, respond to what is happening in the operation and deliver what is needed, rather than becoming distracted by longer-term issues.
  • A collaborative attitude and willingness to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to our shared success.

Our offer

This is a full-time, roster-based operational role. Our operation runs 7 days a week, with a rotating pattern of 4 consecutive days at work followed by 2 days off. Shifts include early starts and late finishes, and your roster will therefore include weekdays, weekends and Bank Holidays. Flexibility to work across the full shift pattern is essential.

In return, you can expect a great working environment, a supportive team and a superb range of benefits, including:

  • Meal allowance
  • Discounted Eurostar tickets
  • The opportunity to earn an additional 10% of your basic salary per annum through the Company’s PRP (Performance Related Pay) scheme
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Discounts at selected shops within St Pancras International
  • Plus many more employee benefits

You’ll be joining a dynamic international operation where your contribution matters every day, working alongside a team that supports one another and succeeds together.

Pay: £34,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Employee discount

  • French (required)
