Overview
We are looking for Waste Recycling Site Operatives to join us in our waste recycling site in The Geddings, 4 Pindar Rd, Hoddesdon EN11 0BZ to join our team in managing waste disposal and recycling activities. The role involves ensuring the proper handling and disposal of waste materials in an environmentally friendly manner.
Responsibilities
- Collecting and segregating waste materials for recycling or disposal
- Operating waste management equipment
- Conducting regular checks on waste containers for safety and cleanliness
- Assisting with the maintenance and cleaning of waste collection areas
- Following health and safety guidelines for handling hazardous waste
Qualifications
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of the job role
- Basic mechanical knowledge for operating waste management equipment is advantageous
