Recycling Plan Operative
Location: Ely Depot

As our business continues to grow rapidly, we are expanding our team and seeking dedicated individuals to help us deliver high‑quality waste management and recycling solutions.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Plant operator to join our team at the Ely depot. This is a day‑shift role involving the safe and efficient Processing of recycling materials within our recycling facility. You will operate a variety of plant as part of your daily duties. such as Tellehandler, 360 Material Handler and FLT's

Key Responsibilities

  • Loading / Unloading Material from Vehicles
  • Mechanically processing materials
  • Manual Handling of recycling materials
  • Maintain high standards of plant care and compliance
  • Work collaboratively with the depot and operations teams

About You

  • Proven experience as a Plant operator
  • Strong understanding of written and verbal English
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude toward supporting customer needs
  • Commitment to safety, professionalism, and service excellence
  • Additional training will be provided where necessary

Hours & Schedule

  • Monday to Friday – minimum 40 hours per week
  • Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays and Bank Holidays
  • All overtime paid at an enhanced rate
  • Regular weekend availability required
