Ready to take the wheel and help drive excellence at Reed Boardall Transport?

We’re on the lookout for a passionate Transport Coordinator to join our fast-paced, friendly team, working at the heart of our transport operation to keep our customers moving.

Depending on experience, the salary range we can offer:

Days - Up to £35,000.00 per annum

What does the role include?

Working 4 on 4 off days, 0600-1800, our traffic function runs like a finely tuned engine, powered by a team of coordinators who each take the wheel on a key part of the operation.

We’ve divided our function into five core areas of focus:

Despatcher, In-Transit, Depot Chaser, Confirmer, and Inbound Communications.

You’ll be trained across all five, giving you the skills and confidence to handle every aspect of the traffic process, but here’s the best part, you’ll only focus on one core accountability per shift, allowing you to fully own your area, make an impact, and drive real results!

In-Transit Chaser: Stay one step ahead. You’ll monitor deliveries, spot potential delays early, and update customers to keep everything running smoothly and on time.

Inbound Communications: Be the voice of the operation. You’ll handle incoming queries quickly and accurately, keeping information flowing between drivers, depots, and teams.

Confirmer: Plan for success. You’ll confirm all drivers and deliveries for the next day, ensuring clear communication, fewer last-minute changes, and stronger team alignment.

Despatcher: Set the day in motion. You’ll make sure every load leaves on time, with the right vehicle, paperwork, and instructions, helping us hit those key DOT and OTIF targets.
