Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Self Employed Complementary Therapist to provide specialised therapeutic services to clients on a flexible basis. This role offers the opportunity to work independently, utilise your expertise in holistic therapies, and contribute to clients’ overall wellbeing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy, medical imaging, and CAD skills, enabling them to deliver tailored treatments effectively. As a self-employed professional, you will manage your own appointments and build your client base while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customised complementary therapy treatments such as Swedish massage, reflexology, acupuncture , cupping or other holistic modalities in accordance with client needs.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ health status and discuss treatment plans tailored to individual requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and monitor client progress over time.
• Ensure all equipment and treatment areas adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Promote your services through various channels whilst upholding professional standards and client confidentiality.
• Stay informed about developments in complementary therapies, including advances in medical imaging applications and anatomy knowledge relevant to practice.
• Manage your own schedule efficiently, ensuring timely appointments and follow-ups with clients.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to inform treatment approaches.
• Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and build rapport with clients.
• Organisation skills for managing appointments, client records, and business operations independently and time management.
• Professionalism and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and confidentiality within your practice.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a loyal client base.
• Professional and reliable presentation
• Qualified in either Acupuncture/ Lymphatic drainage/ Beauty and facial / reflexology.
• Relevant and up to date knowledge

Pay: £90.00-£180.00 per day
