Reservations Agent

Reservations

The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel is currently recruiting for Reservations Agent to join our talented Reservations team. We’re an equal opportunities employer, and we welcome and value applications from all communities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In the role of Reservations Agent, your key focus will be to:

  • answer all incoming Reservation enquiries, to the agreed departmental standard, and wherever possible to convert them to bookings
  • input reservations into SHIJI system, ensuring all details are accurate and complete in line with the agreed departmental standard.
  • ensure all system traces are actioned on a daily basis
  • ensure all 'no-shows' from the previous night are followed up and charged accordingly
  • perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing as and when required

ABOUT YOU

  • excellent customer service skills and ability to build the rapport with guests
  • ability to produce work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • strong organisational and administrative skills
  • strong computer skills; all Microsoft Office packages and working knowledge of Property Management Systems, such as Opera or SHIJI is essential.
