We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and experienced Massage Therapist to join our dedicated wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of human anatomy and be proficient in a wide range of massage modalities. You will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic massage services tailored to the individual needs of each client, ensuring their comfort, satisfaction, and effective pain relief throughout the treatment process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation & Assessment: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their specific needs, health history, areas of discomfort, and desired outcomes.
• Treatment Planning: Develop and execute personalized treatment plans based on client assessments, incorporating appropriate massage techniques and modalities.
• Diverse Modality Proficiency: Expertly perform a variety of massage treatments, including but not limited to:
• Deep Tissue Massage
• Foot Massage and Reflexology
• Hot Stone Massage
• Back, Neck, and Shoulder Massage
• Specialized techniques for pain relief (e.g., trigger point therapy, myofascial release)
• Anatomical Knowledge: Apply a strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology to effectively target specific muscles and provide therapeutic benefits.
• Client Comfort & Safety: Ensure a safe, comfortable, and hygienic environment for all clients. Adhere to all sanitation and safety protocols.
• Professional Communication: Maintain professional and empathetic communication with clients, explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing aftercare advice.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant observations.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other wellness professionals and team members to ensure a cohesive client experience.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Massage Therapist, with a strong portfolio of diverse massage modalities.
• In-depth understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and common musculoskeletal conditions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A compassionate, empathetic, and professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required Certifications/Licenses:

• Diploma in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution
• Up-to-date insurance coverage for self-employed
