Job Summary
Seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join the wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients. You will play a vital role in enhancing the overall well-being of our clients through various massage techniques tailored to their individual needs.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs and preferences.
  • Perform a variety of massage techniques, including swedish, hot stones, aromatherapy, maternity and reflexology.
  • Maintain a clean and organised treatment room, ensuring all equipment is sanitised and ready for use.
  • Document client progress and treatment plans accurately.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both clients and staff.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
  • A strong knowledge of human anatomy is essential for effective treatment planning.
  • Certification from an accredited massage therapy programme is required.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning within the field.
