Benchmark Environmental Limited is a well-established and growing recycling business based in Guildford, committed to creating a sustainable future for our community. We are now looking for a reliable, safety-conscious, and professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join our dedicated team.

The Role:

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating our HGV vehicles to collect commercial and domestic recycling waste. Your primary duties will include:

• Safely operating a Class 2 vehicle (e.g., RCV / Dustcart) on a pre-defined collection round.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and defect reporting to ensure high standards of safety and maintenance.
• Providing excellent customer service as a representative of our company.
• Working as a team player to ensure all rounds are completed efficiently.
• Adhering to all traffic laws, health & safety regulations, and company procedures at all times.

What We're Looking For:

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• A valid Driver CPC (DCPC) card.
• A demonstrable commitment to safety and professionalism on the road.
• Must be 25 years of age or over (for insurance purposes).
• Beneficial, but NOT Essential: Previous experience as a Dustcart, Bin Lorry, or Refuse Collection Vehicle (RCV) driver. Full training will be provided!
