Job Overview
We are currently recruiting Facilities Hygienist to join our company. We are a busy food manufacturing team producing sauces, mustards, horseradish and spice‑based products.

The Facilities Hygienist ensures a safe, sterile and healthy indoor environment for all staff. To execute sanitisation protocols, monitor consumable usage, cleaning of factory inside and outside. To maintain corporate health standards to minimize poor cleaning practices.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30

Overall Responsibilities

  • Following all health & safety and quality procedures
  • Ensure all the relevant HACCP, work instructions and GMP procedures are followed at all times
  • Working in a fast-paced food environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Infection Control – Sanitize and disinfect high touch areas such as desks, elevator, tables, meeting rooms
  • Washroom Cleaning – Sanitize and disinfect all communal areas including toilets, kitchen, changing rooms and canteen
  • Chemical management – Handle, store and use cleaning agents safely according to COSSH dat sheets or hazardous material guidelines
  • Kitchen food hygiene – Inspect and clean shared workplace kitchen areas including sinks, taps and refrigerators
  • Supply Inventory – Track and restock hygiene consumables, PPE ( replenishment of Hairnets, beard snoods, paper towel and hand sanitizers / disinfectant)
  • Physical tasks – These tasks include in the factory + outside duties such as clearing industrial sized refuse bins and glass / plastic waste into compactors
  • Be responsible for the area in which you work by being organised and adhering to ‘Clean as You Go’ policy
  • Carry out any other duties that may be required as delegated by line leaders / shift managers
