Join Our Team as a Waste Collection Operative in Swadlincote

Are you ready to make a difference in your local community while enjoying a flexible work schedule? Aligra, on behalf of our client, is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Refuse Loaders to join the local authority team in Swadlincote. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are looking to work 5 days per week, with an immediate starts available!

Key Responsibilities

As a Refuse Loader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of residential areas. Your duties will include:

  • Efficient Bin Loading: Safely and effectively load refuse bins onto the truck, ensuring all waste is securely transported.
  • Waste Collection: Collect waste and refuse from residential properties across the community, adhering to collection schedules and routes.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with your team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and on time. Communication and cooperation are key to success in this role.
  • Accurate Logging: Ensure that any missed bins are logged correctly and reported to the appropriate team members to maintain service accuracy.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 05:00-13:00 or 06:00-14:00
  • Enjoy a structured workday with early starts, allowing for the potential of an afternoon free for personal activities.
