Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CQC Registered Manager to lead and oversee the operations of a care home dedicated to providing exceptional senior care. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services that meet all regulatory standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Your leadership will foster a positive environment for both residents and staff, promoting dignity, independence, and well-being. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults, including those with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining compliance, managing care teams, and continuously improving service quality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the care home, ensuring smooth operational functioning and high standards of care.
  • Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
  • Oversee medication administration processes to guarantee safety, accuracy, and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Supervise and support care staff through effective leadership, supervision, training, and development initiatives.
  • Ensure all activities comply with CQC regulations and other relevant legislation; prepare for inspections and maintain continuous compliance.
  • Foster a caring environment by promoting best practices in senior care, assisted living, nursing home standards, and home care services.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels efficiently to deliver quality care while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with residents’ families and external health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care delivery.

Experience

  • Proven experience working within assisted living or nursing home environments with a strong understanding of senior care needs.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing or supervising teams within a care home setting.
  • Knowledge of dementia care strategies and Alzheimer’s disease management techniques.
  • Familiarity with CQC regulations, compliance procedures, and inspection processes as a registered manager.
  • Background in nursing or healthcare management is highly desirable; relevant certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience in developing and implementing effective care plans that prioritize resident safety and well-being.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage change, and foster a positive workplace culture focused on excellence in care.

Join us to lead with compassion and expertise—making a real difference every day in the lives of residents while advancing your career in senior healthcare management!
