You’re comfortable working independently and as part of a small team, with a strong focus on safety, confidentiality, and high-quality clinical practice. Minimum requirements:
- Registered nurse qualification with some post qualification experience
- Good understanding of medical confidentiality, ethics, and accountability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a small team
- Health promotion and lifestyle advice capability
- Clinical skills including ECG, venepuncture, urinalysis, blood pressure monitoring. Audiometry, spirometry, HAVs assessment, skin surveillance and decontamination would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given.
The following requirements would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided

- Display Screen Equipment Assessor qualification
- Drugs and Alcohol testing competency
To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering occupational health medicals, health surveillance, and screening activities within required timeframes
- Carrying out drug and alcohol testing as a trained collection officer
- Supporting employee wellbeing through health advice, screening, and lifestyle guidance
- Maintaining accurate health records while ensuring strict medical confidentiality
- Supporting emergency response and first aid requirements on site
