Job Description
Share Scotland is the care sector’s best kept secret—and this is your chance to be part of an innovative, family-led organisation. As part of a dynamic and supportive team, you’ll bring your own skills, interests and ideas to make a real difference.
For almost 30 years, we’ve supported adults with complex disabilities through individually tailored care—helping people to actively pursue their chosen lifestyle at home and in their local community.
If you have the right personality and attitude, we’ll provide expert training to help you succeed. If you already have experience or a relevant qualification, even better.
About the role
Due to an increase in service users in the Edinburgh area, we’re looking for Relief Support Workers across our services, supporting people in their own homes. Relief hours are flexible to cover sickness, holidays and vacancies.
Support Worker benefits
- Scottish Living Wage Employer: £15.07 per hour
- 3% employer and 5% employee contributory pension (above the minimum legally required)
- No experience needed—full training provided
- Parent-led organisation with supportive, friendly teams
- Investors in People (Silver) employer
- Regularly awarded 6 stars from the Care Inspectorate
**Progression to final salary scale is dependent on successfully gaining SVQ3
Next steps
If this sounds like the right fit for you, we’d love to hear from you. Apply via the Share Scotland website and include any relevant experience (if you have it)—we’ll provide full training and support to help you get started.
