Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Reinstatement Operative to join our dynamic team. This role involves restoring and reinstating telecommunication infrastructure after maintenance or repair work, ensuring that networks are returned to full operational status efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out reinstatement activities on telecommunication networks following maintenance or upgrade work
  • Manage the safe removal and reinstallation of cables, equipment, and infrastructure components
  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure reinstated assets meet quality standards and safety regulations
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and site managers regarding progress and issues
  • Operate relevant vehicles and equipment safely during reinstatement tasks
  • Document all work activities accurately in reports and logs for compliance purposes
  • Support ongoing maintenance schedules by identifying potential issues during reinstatement processes

Requirements

  • Proven experience in management or supervision within a maintenance or construction environment
  • Strong understanding of telecommunication infrastructure and reinstatement procedures
  • Valid driving license with experience operating relevant vehicles or machinery
  • Excellent communication skills for clear coordination with team members and clients
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols
  • Flexibility to work outdoors in various weather conditions and at different sites
  • Nice-to-have: certifications related to health & safety, driving qualifications, or technical training in telecommunications
