Davanti Tyres Ltd is a subsidiary company of Oak Tyre Holdings Ltd, one of the UK’s leading suppliers to the Fast-Fit industry and an industry leader for imported exclusive tyre brands.

We are seeking a creative storyteller with the ability to craft impactful video content that engages our audience and effectively conveys our brand message across multiple digital channels.

As our Lead Videographer, you will be one of the key drivers of our visual identity. Planning, filming and editing a diverse range of video and photo content for distribution across our house brand channels, as well as taking the lead on the planning and production of campaign assets.

Joining our expanding marketing team at our head office in Newton-le-Willows, you will be the point of contact within the video department and lead person overseeing and managing content projects from conception to completion with the support of our Marketing Director.

You will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the future success of our house brands. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will demonstrate a desire to work in a fast- paced, dynamic environment within an innovative, forward-thinking company.

This is an office-based role (within our Newton-le-Willows head office), and you will be responsible for B2B and B2C content creation relating to Davanti Tyres and our other house brands, including but not limited to Landsail Tyres, Envoy Tyres and Oak Tyres.

Duties will include:

  • Collaborating with the content team to plan, capture and edit a diverse range of video and photo content, tailored to our marketing needs
  • Manage end-to-end video production, including planning, script writing, scheduling, filming, editing, and delivery
  • Offering content creation support at our head office and warehouses, as well as at our key events and customer experience trips in the UK and internationally
  • Offer post-production support, editing videos, digital graphics, and audio for a variety of multimedia projects
  • Creating motion graphics (titles, end cards and lower thirds, etc.) and simple animations in line with brand guidelines
  • Creating and retouching product photography

Pre-Production & Planning

  • Work on pre-production tasks, including but not limited to brainstorming content ideas, creating shot lists and writing scripts
  • Planning, executing and managing a consistent volume of content specifically targeted at our customer audiences across all social media, digital and print channels
  • Leading on the planning and production of campaign shoots and video shoots with the Marketing team and any external stakeholders, contributing to ideas and overcoming any creative or technical challenges

Team Management & Housekeeping

  • Line management of the Content Creator and Video Editor, with the support of the Marketing Director
  • Management of content requests (departmental and wider business) and work allocation among team members using internal management tools
  • Managing the content meetings and the content team actions. Contributing and leading on content strategy and planning with the Marketing Director by identifying audience needs, analysing performance data, and recommending improvements.
  • Organising department activity and presenting this to the Marketing Director, agreeing on next steps and implementing the activity
  • Management of equipment and equipment inventory
  • Prioritising requests effectively, ensuring deadlines are met while balancing multiple projects.
  • Developing content to a professional standard, including proofing of spelling, grammar and brand tone of voice
  • Staying current in social media and digital marketing trends; continuing to educate wider teams on innovations and latest platform developments
  • Adhering to brand guidelines and production standards
  • Accurately naming and archiving video and photo asset files

Required Attributes:

  • A creative thinker with a passion for creating engaging film and audio content
  • Educated to degree level
  • 5 or more years of related experience in video and audio content creation
  • Must have a portfolio of content to showcase experience; applications submitted without a portfolio will not be reviewed
  • Proficiency with various types of camera equipment, including DSLRs, lighting, microphones, action cameras, drones and other accessories. Ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment for high-quality results
  • A strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, with specialist skills in editing within programmes such as Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro, along with experience working in After Effects
  • Experience delivering film and audio content to a high standard in accordance with brand guidelines
  • A creative storyteller with extensive experience working in creating impactful short-form and long-form content, primarily for social media platforms, as well as internal TVs and digital signage
  • An ability to multitask and handle a large volume of time-sensitive deadlines, alongside being flexible and able to function confidently in a professional environment
  • Ability to coordinate, liaise and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and internal stakeholders all over the world, being sensitive to other cultures and markets
  • Exceptional work ethic and attention to detail

Desirables:

  • Ability to travel in the UK and internationally, where required
  • Knowledge of colour correction, sound design and motion graphics
  • An interest in the automotive industr
