Full job description
Kwest Research is a social research organisation based in Didsbury, Manchester, and we wish to recruit more graduate interviewers to join our team. Our recruitment processes are rapid and we aim for new staff to start work within 2 weeks of receiving their CVs.
We specialise in consultation within the social housing sector and our clients include many of the most prestigious housing associations and local authorities in the country. We interview social housing residents by phone to find out what they think about their homes, their neighbourhoods and the services they receive.
If you have a naturally enthusiastic, high energy personality and nice clear speech you will enjoy our interviewing work and find it very satisfying.
This role is office based and not home-based. All our interviewers are recent graduates from Manchester University or similar Russell Group universities.
Interviews range from 2 to 10 minutes in length and around three-quarters of the people we phone will readily participate in an interview. Such high participation rates are possible because our interviewers have very appealing voices and speak with energy and enthusiasm. Interviews are short, and residents enjoying talking with an enthusiastic interviewer about their homes and neighbourhoods and experience of service.
Full training is provided, and no previous experience is desired or necessary.
Kwest is a small organisation with 25-35 staff (including interviewers), which limits opportunities for internal advancement. However, our working environment enables our interviewers to develop the key skills that enables them to jump into career positions in larger organisations when they feel it is time to move on - typically after 4-12 months.
This is an ideal job for someone looking for a few months work whilst waiting for the right career opportunity to appear. It is an entry level position that provides valuable professional office experience and that enhances future job prospects.
Pay is £14.78 per hour including holiday pay and £16.45 including the top rate of bonus. This is equivalent to £25,662-£28,637 per year, based upon 37.5 hours per week and 28 days of holiday.
If you are a graduate from a Russell Group Universities in the UK and the job and the working environment appeal to you then please apply quickly to avoid disappointment.
