You'll handle a varied caseload that may include residential development, complex properties and challenging tenure arrangements. You'll also build client relationships, contribute to business growth and work alongside a wider network of valuation specialists.
The role
  • Complete residential valuations in line with RICS Red Book requirements, from instruction to final report.
  • Provide clear, accurate advice and deliver reports to agreed standards and deadlines.
  • Manage client relationships and contribute to repeat business.
  • Support fee targets by identifying opportunities and developing new client connections.
  • Take responsibility for individual instructions or parts of larger projects.
  • Share valuation knowledge and support colleagues across the team.
  • Help improve the quality, efficiency and profitability of valuation work.
Senior-level responsibilities
Depending on your experience, you may also:
  • Review and sign off complex, high-value or higher-risk valuations.
  • Provide technical guidance on residential valuation matters.
  • Lead or support internal and external audit activity.
  • Coach colleagues, manage a team and contribute to performance reviews.
  • Help develop valuation standards, processes and working practices.
About you
  • MRICS qualified and an RICS Registered Valuer — essential.
  • Degree-level education.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Strong residential valuation experience, including prime or high-value property and, ideally, development valuations.
  • Confident report writing and communication skills.
  • Able to manage a varied workload and build lasting client relationships.
  • Commercially minded, with an interest in business development and team performance.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience using Argus Developer or similar valuation software is an advantage.
Benefits
The package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, company car allowance, private medical cover, life assurance, income protection and up to 30 days' annual leave, plus public holidays. Additional benefits include health and wellbeing support, flexible benefits, travel and retail discounts, a season ticket loan, volunteering opportunities and company social events.
