  • Monitoring daily, weekly and monthly kitchen checklists
  • Supporting stock control systems and supplier administration
  • Organising delivery records, invoices and filing systems
  • Assisting with rota administration and labour tracking
  • Supporting menu rollouts and recipe documentation
  • Ensuring kitchen communication systems remain organised and effective

Food Safety & Compliance

  • Maintaining exceptional EHO standards throughout the business
  • Ensuring all HACCP and SFBB documentation is completed correctly
  • Conducting internal compliance checks and audits
  • Monitoring temperature records, cleaning schedules and due diligence
  • Supporting staff training and maintaining training records
  • Liaising confidently during Environmental Health inspections
  • Driving a culture of cleanliness, organisation and accountability

Operational Support

  • Providing support to senior kitchen leadership where required
  • Assisting with kitchen structure, systems and standards
  • Supporting service periods during busy operations when necessary
  • Helping maintain consistency across all food operations
  • Acting as a bridge between front-of-house management and kitchen teams

Candidate Requirements

Essential

  • Previous experience as a Head Chef, Kitchen Manager or equivalent senior kitchen leadership role
  • Experience within premium casual dining or multi-service hospitality venues
  • Extensive professional kitchen experience within high-volume hospitality
  • Strong understanding of UK food safety legislation and EHO expectations
  • Excellent knowledge of HACCP, SFBB and due diligence procedures
  • Highly organised with strong administrative and clerical ability
  • Confident using digital systems, spreadsheets and reporting tools
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to maintain standards in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

  • Experience supporting large teams and structured kitchen operations
  • Level 3 Food Safety qualification or higher
  • Experience preparing kitchens for EHO inspections and audits

What We Offer

  • Predominantly daytime working hours
  • Structured and professional working environment
  • Opportunity to work within one of the area’s most ambitious hospitality venues
  • Exposure to a diverse and high-volume food operation
  • Supportive senior management structure
  • Competitive salary based on experience
