Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team at The BULL INN . With 9 beautifully appointed rooms, a restaurant, and event spaces, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

As Head Housekeeper, you will oversee all aspects of housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring that rooms and public areas are maintained to five-star standards. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for cleanliness, attention to detail, and excellent team management skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily housekeeping operations across hotel rooms and public areas.
  • Train, motivate, and lead the housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards.
  • Ensure efficient room turnaround for check-ins and check-outs.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and linen inventory, placing orders as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control.
  • Work closely with the GM and reception team to coordinate room readiness and special guest requests.
  • Implement and maintain health & safety and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain laundry operations, ensuring fresh linen and towels are available at all times.
  • Handle lost property and guest laundry requests.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong eye for detail and a commitment to high standards.
  • Ability to lead and manage a small housekeeping team.
  • Organisational skills to prioritise workloads and manage stock.
  • Experience with health & safety compliance.
  • A hands-on and proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.
