We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the culinary arts, ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly while delivering exceptional service to our guests. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing both the front and back of house, fostering a positive work environment, and maintaining high standards of food preparation and service.

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent organisational skills, and a proven track record in retail or sales management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the store’s operations, motivate staff, and enhance customer satisfaction. Fluency in multiple languages is highly desirable to effectively communicate with a diverse clientele and team. The Assistant Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of daily activities while fostering a positive working environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving sales targets
• Supervise and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service
• Manage merchandising, stock organisation, and visual presentation to optimise sales potential
• Assist with recruitment, training, and development of staff to ensure high performance standards
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly, maintaining excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for management review
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Organise staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
• Support administrative tasks such as inventory control, cash handling, and record keeping
• Lead by example in demonstrating leadership qualities, organisational skills, and effective time management

Requirements

• Proven management or supervisory experience within retail or sales environments
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and motivating staff
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual capabilities are advantageous
• Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Experience in merchandising, sales management, and administrative duties
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
• Professional demeanour with good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexibly within a dynamic environment; previous retail management experience is preferred
• Organised, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team
