Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive kitchen experience and a strong background in food preparation and production with a leaning towards Italian cuisine. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Your interpersonal skills will be essential in fostering a positive and efficient working environment while delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute towards the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Showcase your capabilities of food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times
  • Train new kitchen staff on cooking methods, food safety practices, and equipment usage
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
  • Maintain a positive team atmosphere by encouraging collaboration and communication among staff

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary skills

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
