Front of House Team Member

Job Description:

We are looking for a customer service focused Front of House Team Member to provide excellent customer service and support to our employees and customers. The ideal candidate will be friendly, energetic, organized, and able to perform tasks with attention to detail while following instructions. We are looking for someone who will be a positive addition to our company and a positive addition to their family and co-workers.

Overview and Purpose

To look after all of our customers from the start to finish of their dining experience, helping to create a warm and friendly environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Welcome and greet all customers upon entrance.

· Prepare dining tables by arranging condiments, kitchenware and decorations.

· Be knowledgeable about the current menu and our suppliers, assisting customers with their food and drink choices.

· Be aware of recommended drink pairings to compliment dishes.

· Take orders to kitchen staff and notify them of any special requests or dietary needs.

· Deliver food to guests in a timely manner and attend to the needs of customers throughout the dining process.

· Issue bills and obtain payment.

· Occasionally step in to help the Bar Staff during busy periods.

Skills

· Excellent verbal communication skills.

· General maths skills.

· Great customer service and conflict-resolution skills, and a commitment to professionalism.

· Ability to work in a busy environment for hours at a time.

· Excellent team player.
