***Due to funding this role is for 16-19yrs ***

Louise & Simon are currently recruiting an apprentice commis chef to join our team at The George Pub in the beautiful village of Little Brickhill. A 10 minute drive from Central Milton Keynes. We are an independent establishment which gives us the flexibility to change/adapt our menus regularly. We offer a traditional pub menu with a slight Mediterranean twist. Full training will be given and we are happy to fund the college course too. We want someone who has a passion for food, is hardworking and reliable.

We are looking for someone to:

  • Work under the guidance of our head chef
  • Assist in the food preparation process
  • Learn to prepare/plate up starters & desserts
  • Help with deliveries and restocking
  • Wash up
  • Clean stations
  • Contribute to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.

To join our team, you’ll need:

· To pride yourself on food quality and hygiene standards

· To have good communication and teamwork skills

· Take direction well

· Enjoys working in fun/family environment

Typical Working Pattern:

Mon & Tues - off

Wed & Thurs - 4pm-10pm

Sat & Sun - 11am-10pm

Sun - 11am-6pm
