Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager
Location: P Louise Cafe Stockport

Salary: £32,500 - £38,000

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our fast-paced café environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure exceptional customer service, efficient team performance, and smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily café operations
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house team members
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management
  • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory control
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
  • Support achievement of sales targets and control operational costs
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and brand consistency

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality or food service
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
