Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen operations, ensuring that cleanliness, food preparation and service run smoothly. This position is perfect for individuals who are looking to start their career in the restaurant and hotel industry

Duties

  • Pot Wash and General Cleaning.
  • Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking.
  • Support chefs with catering services, including setting up.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Help with washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure a hygienic workspace.
  • Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality meals efficiently.
  • Follow instructions from chefs regarding cooking techniques and presentation of dishes.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a bonus.
  • A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic setting.
