Job Summary

As Waiting Staff, you’ll welcome guests, take orders and serve food and drinks with care. You’ll help create a smooth, enjoyable dining experience by communicating clearly with guests and working closely with colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests, explain menu options, take accurate orders and relay requests to the kitchen.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly, check guest satisfaction and respond courteously to questions or concerns.
  • Prepare dining areas and assist with food preparation, following food safety practices and keeping shared spaces clean.
  • Process bills accurately, use basic maths when needed and suggest suitable additional items where appropriate.

Skills

Required: You’ll need practical serving skills, clear communication, time management, basic maths and care when handling food and maintaining a clean service area. Essential: Hospitality, restaurant or bar experience of at least 6 months; guest services experience and confidence with appropriate upselling are also useful. Your impact: Attentive, well-coordinated service helps guests enjoy their meal and enables kitchen colleagues to fulfil orders smoothly.

Must be available through the busy festive season.

Weekly tronc and cash tips on top of your wage.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 20.0 per week
