Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bar and Catering Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent service to guests, assisting with food and beverage preparation, and supporting the smooth operation of our catering events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Serve drinks and food to guests in a courteous and professional manner
  • Assist with setting up and clearing catering areas before and after events
  • Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and catering stations
  • Support with stock replenishment and inventory management
  • Take orders accurately using basic maths skills to handle cash or card payments
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest needs promptly
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods
  • Assist in event preparation, including decorating tables and arranging serving stations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous
