Job Summary
The Wine Bar Attendant is responsible for providing an enjoyable and memorable experience for guests, serving wines and other beverages, and supporting the bar’s daily operations. This role involves assisting guests with wine selections, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring a clean, welcoming atmosphere. An ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in wine, strong communication skills, and a customer-first approach.

Duties

  • Welcome guests warmly and assist with drink orders.
  • Serve wine, wine-based drinks, and other beverages as requested.
  • Recommend wines based on guest preferences and menu offerings.
  • Share basic information about the wines available, such as origin, tasting notes, and pairing ideas.
  • Keep the bar area organized, stocked, and clean.
  • Restock wine, glassware, and other bar essentials as needed.
  • Accurately process guest payments.
  • Assist with wine-tasting events and special promotions.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe, clean environment.

Skills

  • A diploma in wine or prior experience working in a wine bar (mandatory)
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for sharing wine knowledge
  • Friendly and professional communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
  • French language skills are a plus

Schedule:
