We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the Silk Road Bar & Restaurant in our Spa and Leisure Department.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a confident and capable supervisor who can lead a team, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and maintain high operational standards in a busy hospitality environment.

We are looking for an established hospitality professional with proven supervisory experience who can step into the role and make an immediate impact.

Essential Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of two years' full-time experience in a Food & Beverage Supervisor, Restaurant Supervisor, Bar Supervisor, or equivalent hospitality leadership role. Applications from candidates without significant supervisory experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise front-of-house operations during service.
  • Ensure guests receive outstanding customer service at all times.
  • Motivate, coach, and support team members to achieve high performance standards.
  • Manage guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
  • Support stock control, ordering, and inventory management procedures.
  • Carry out cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Assist with staff training, development, and performance management.
  • Work closely with management to achieve departmental targets and objectives.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' full-time supervisory experience within food and beverage operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage busy service periods and work under pressure.
  • Experience handling customer complaints and resolving issues effectively.
  • Good understanding of food hygiene, health & safety, and hospitality standards.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Right to work in the UK.
