Manor House Country Hotel, proudly family-owned and operated for over 30 years. We are committed to delivering warm hospitality, high standards of service, and a welcoming atmosphere for all our guests, whether they are visiting for leisure, dining, or special events.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a professional and customer-focused Hotel Bartender to join our hospitality team. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to hotel guests, preparing drinks to a high standard, and supporting bar operations including evening service and private functions.

This role includes late shifts and function bar shifts so over 18 and flexibility is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm, professional welcome to all hotel guests
  • Prepare and serve beverages to company standards
  • Deliver excellent service in the main bar and during private events/functions
  • Follow all cash handling and bar operating procedures
  • Maintain accurate stock control and minimise wastage
  • Complete opening and closing duties, ensuring the bar area is clean and organised
  • Handle guest queries and complaints efficiently, escalating where appropriate
  • Maintain high standards of personal presentation and hygiene
  • Comply with all Health & Safety regulations
  • Keep work areas safe, clean, and well maintained

Requirements

  • Previous bartending or hotel hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work confidently during busy service periods and events
  • Flexible to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and function shifts
  • A team player with strong attention to detail
