Full job description

Elezar is a new restaurant in the crypt of St George’s Church, Hanover Square. Best described as an Eastern European chophouse, the menu takes its cues from the region’s flavours and techniques — including pickling, fermenting, curing and preserving — with traditional zakuski to begin, followed by grilled meat and fish. Whole fish and large cuts are treated with the same care and attention traditionally associated with steak. Open six days a week for lunch and supper, Elezar will be lively, low-lit and unpretentious. Expect plenty of martinis, a thoughtful wine programme and genuine hospitality.

We're looking for a Front of House Supervisor to lead a section, set the tone for the floor, and help build genuine hospitality.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing a section in a fast-paced environment while ensuring timely service
  • Providing exceptional hospitality and customer care
  • Sharing your in-depth knowledge of our products and suppliers with guests
  • Aligning your work with our company values and brand ethos
  • Being efficient in all aspects of service and adept at multitasking
  • Collaborating effectively as part of a team
  • Participating in and contributing to daily briefings and in-house training sessions
  • Overseeing the front-of-house team to ensure seamless operations across all sections
  • Inspiring, motivating, and training the waiting team to deliver outstanding service
  • Leading and executing all opening, handover, and closing duties to prepare the restaurant and FOH team for timely briefings

What you'll bring
